New materials and techniques for creating rich, vibrant, and durable materials are changing the way you do business.
But if you want to go one step further, you could build a material that’s both flexible and waterproof.
King of Kings, a product by a company called Crayon, is the first waterproof material for the King.
It’s made from polyester and is made to withstand the elements, but it also is flexible and has a high water resistance rating.
You could buy it as a “material of the year” at Amazon.com, Crayons website states.
Its been tested in an Olympic pool, underwater, in the Amazon River, the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean Sea.
It was also featured in the 2017 Design Awards.
A couple months ago, I asked King of Kong designer Matt Kish for advice on building a material like this.
He said:I wanted something that could be used in many different applications, but also would be easy to create.
I like to think of the material as a kind of catalyst for creativity and innovation.
I’m always looking for ways to help people find their place in the world.
He added that the material is not meant to replace traditional paper.
“It’s more like a catalyst for the imagination of designers,” he said.
Kish said that he wants to use the material to create a “new paradigm” in product design.
“I want to create new ways to use and manipulate materials in ways that can change the world.”
I can’t wait to see what new materials Crayonics is able to come up with.
